James Askey

James Askey is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as the Head of Marketing, CRM & Insight at Cardiff City Football Club and as a Non Executive Director at SWIM WALES, both positions held since September 2022. In addition, James has been a Board Trustee at Sight Life since November 2019 and previously held the role of Head of Marketing and Technology at Scarlets Rugby until September 2022. James's career includes significant roles at The Royal Mint as Head of Campaign Marketing and Marketing Manager, and at Creditsafe as Customer Marketing and Communications Manager. James began their career with early marketing roles, including a Marketing Internship at Creditsafe and a work placement at Barnardo's. Academically, James holds a BSc in Business Management and Marketing from Cardiff University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Driven Marketing from the Institute of Data and Marketing.
