Angesh Anupam

Angesh Anupam is an accomplished academic and researcher in Data Science, currently serving as the Head of Department at Cardiff Metropolitan University since September 2020. In this role, Angesh oversees academic activities and resource management within the Department of Data Science. Previous positions include Field Group Chair for the academic field of Data Science, Group Head for Net Zero and Sustainability Research, and Programme Director for the MSc in Data Science. Angesh's extensive experience at Noroff as an Associate Professor and various consultant roles, alongside a significant tenure at The University of Sheffield as a doctoral researcher, underscore expertise in research, industrial consultancy, course design, and teaching. Angesh holds a Ph.D. in Data Science and Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield, complemented by advanced degrees in Control Systems and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
