Callam Thom is a seasoned professional in the live events and venue management sector, currently serving as the Head of Venues at Cardiff Students' Union since December 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing various business strands such as Food and Beverage, Nightclub, Live Music, and External Hire while enhancing student experiences. Prior roles within the same organization include Deputy Head of Venues, Assistant Head of Venues - Events, and Technical Coordinator. Additionally, Callam has been a freelance live event technician since August 2014 and has contributed as a Lighting Design Specialist at SWG Events from April 2018 to December 2021. Callam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Live Event Technology from the University of South Wales, completed in 2016, and received education from The Woodroffe School, culminating in GCSE to A-Levels from 2006 to 2013.
