Zohora Iqbal

Zohora Iqbal possesses a diverse background in bioengineering and biomedical engineering, currently serving as a Medical Writer at Dascena since August 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Microfluidics Engineer at Prellis Biologics, Inc. from June 2019 to April 2020, and a Graduate Student position at UCSF from 2010 to December 2018, where Zohora focused on thin film polymeric surface modifications to enhance the hemocompatibility of artificial organs. Earlier work includes serving as a Research Assistant at Ion Torrent Systems from May 2009 to June 2010, where responsibilities included DNA sequencing and experimental design. Zohora earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Francisco, between 2010 and 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2007 to 2009.
