Michael Jaro

EVP, Corporate Development at Cardinal Intellectual Property

Michael Jaro has over 10 years of experience in corporate development and intellectual property management. Michael started their career at Medtronic in 2006, serving as the VP and Chief Patent Counsel until 2016. In this role, they were responsible for patent law and management. In 2016, they joined Cardinal Intellectual Property as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, where they oversaw strategic corporate M&A activities, as well as the management and oversight of the outsourced docket division and IP valuation team.

Michael Jaro holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, which they obtained from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University, where they studied from 1981 to 1986.
