Katy Holbird

Katy Holbird has a diverse background in teaching and film production. Currently serving as teaching staff and trainee teacher at Cardinal Newman Catholic School since September 2020, Katy previously worked as a freelance producer and director for Whisper Films from June 2014 to September 2020, where responsibilities included client consultation, scripting, storyboarding, producing, directing, and edit producing. Prior to this, Katy operated as a producer/director in freelance capacities from September 2012 to September 2020, and worked with BBC Top Gear (Worldwide) from January 2012 to March 2015. Katy holds an MA in Script Writing & Performance, Playwriting, and Adaptation from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, following a degree from the University of Cambridge.
