Simi Bagshaw

Simi Bagshaw currently serves as Associate SLT and BEACH Lead for KS3, KS4, and KS5 at Cardinal Newman Catholic School since September 2021, overseeing the Newman BEACH initiative focused on Business, Enterprise, and Careers. Prior to this role, Simi Bagshaw was an Assistant Headteacher and Physical Education & PSHE Teacher at Chatsmore Catholic High School from September 2007 to September 2021, initially starting as Subject Leader for PE and later taking on pastoral care responsibilities. Simi Bagshaw's earlier experience includes serving as Head of Girls' PE and Head of Edale House at The Bulmershe School from September 2002 to August 2007, as well as teaching PE and Maths at The Lord Grey School from September 2001 to August 2002. Simi Bagshaw holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Sport) from De Montfort University (2000-2001) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Sports Studies from the same institution (1997-2000).
