Hector Urroz is a highly experienced Senior Software and Embedded Engineer with a robust background in firmware development for wireless consumer products, as well as a diverse range of expertise in software engineering for cellular and wireless systems. Current engagement at Cardinal Peak since September 2018 involves developing firmware with technologies such as C/C++, Java, and Bluetooth. Previous roles include significant contributions at LGS Innovations, Magpie Software, and Tendril, focusing on cellular/wireless routers, IP camera integrations, and microservices development. Earlier career stages included leadership positions at Green Energy Corp and Bell Labs, where Hector managed teams and developed critical telecommunication solutions. Educational credentials comprise an MA in Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a BS in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin.
