Thomas Hinkamp, MD, FACS, serves as the Director of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery at Centegra Health System since 2012, achieving a 15% year-over-year surgical volume growth and developing a three-star CABG program and three-star rating for isolated aortic valve replacement. Since 2002, Thomas has also been an attending physician in eICU at Advocate Health Care and a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon at Cardiac Surgery Associates, S.C. since 2000, specializing in heart and lung surgery and transplantation. Additionally, Thomas worked as a Medicare Compliance Consultant at R1 RCM from 2010 to 2014.
