Carlos H. Gutierrez de la Vara

Carlos H. Gutierrez de la Vara has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Carlos H. started their career as an EH&S Engineer at KEMET Electronics Corporation in 1989 and worked there until 1997. Carlos H. then joined Johnson Electric as a Plant & Product Transfer Coordinator from 1997 to 2005. After that, they worked at OE+ Ltd. as an Operations Manager for Starters & Alternators Remanufacturing from 2005 to 2007.

Carlos then joined Cardone Industries in 2007 and held various positions including Manufacturing (Production) Manager, Mfg. Engineering Manager, Mfg. Eng. & Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, and Facilities & Maintenance Director, all within the Constant Velocity Joint Division.

In 2017, Carlos became the Facilities & Maintenance Director for Cardone Industries' Mexico Operations, and they transitioned to the role of Plant Manager for the Brakes Division in 2018. Carlos H. later became the Plant Manager for Projects in 2019 before being promoted to the position of Facilities & Maintenance Director for Mexico Operations once again in 2019.

Most recently, Carlos is serving as the Facilities Director for Mexico Operations at Cardone Industries from January 2021 to present.

Carlos H. Gutierrez de la Vara completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanic Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Matamoros from 1988 to 1994. Carlos H. obtained a Diploma in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in 1996. In 1995, they also earned a Diploma in Industrial Health & Safety from Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas - I.M.S.S. In 2012, Carlos H. Gutierrez de la Vara received a Six Sigma Black Belt Professional certification from the Management and Strategy Institute. Lastly, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration - Manufacturing from the Universidad Americana del Noreste from 2015 to 2017.
