Diego Umpierrez

Diego Umpierrez has a long history of professional experience. In 2006, they began their career as a Document Control Specialist at Cobalt Construction Company. In 2009, they joined Amgen as a Senior Associate in Global Regulatory Affairs & Safety (GRAAS). In 2014, they moved to Puma Biotechnology Inc. as Manager of Regulatory Affairs Operations. In 2016, they completed an MPH Internship/Assistant to Director position at The NeuroCommunity Foundation. In 2019, they joined Pfizer as Senior Manager, Regulatory Operations/Therapeutic Area Lead. In 2021, they began working at EQRx as Associate Director, Global Regulatory Operations. Finally, in 2022, they became Director, Global Regulatory Operations at Cardurion Pharmaceuticals.

Diego Umpierrez has a long and varied education history. Diego began their studies in 1999, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Diego then attended Moorpark College, where they earned an Associate of Science in Biology, General, and an Associate's Degree in Life Sciences, both between 2005 and 2010. Following that, they attended California State University, Northridge, where they obtained two Bachelor's Degrees, one in Economics in 2014 and one in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2012. Diego then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Public Health from California State University, Northridge in 2016. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs from San Diego State University in 2019.
