Donavon McConn

Donavon McConn has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Donavon began their career in 2001 at GlaxoSmithKline as an Investigator and Team Leader. In 2007, they moved to Theravance, where they served as Associate Director-DMPK. In 2012, they joined Takeda, where they held various roles, including Research Alliances and New Ventures, Head of External DMPK Collaboration, Sr. Director and Site Head, Analytical Sciences and DMPK, and Director DMPK. In 2020, they became Entrepreneur In Residence at Takeda Ventures, Inc. In 2021, they became VP of Non-Clinical Development at XinThera Inc., and Chief Operating Officer at two spinout biotechnology companies.

Donavon McConn attended the University of Washington from 1995 to 2001, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutics. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis.
