Subesh Koirala, CPA, CISA, CISSP, currently serves as Vice President of Information Technology Audit at CardWorks, with a focus on IT audit, payment systems, and compliance standards such as ICFR, FDICIA, and SOX. Previously, Subesh held the same title at Merrick Bank, where responsibilities included evaluating IT governance, conducting audits on cybersecurity, and developing risk-based IT audit plans. Subesh also has extensive experience as an Internal Auditor, overseeing business process audits, conducting FDICIA control testing, and advising management on internal control improvements. Early in career development, Subesh gained valuable experience as an Assurance Intern at PwC, reviewing financial data and contributing to audit process improvements.
