Co-Executive Director at Care About Climate

Hailey Campbell has extensive work experience in the field of climate change and sustainability. Hailey'smost recent position is as a Climate Adaptation Specialist at the City and County of Honolulu Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency. Prior to this, they served as an Americorps VISTA: Climate Adaptation Research Analyst at the same organization.

Hailey also has experience working with nonprofit organizations focused on climate change. Hailey was the Co-Executive Director of Care About Climate and previously served as the Director of the Climate Ambassadors Program. Hailey has also been a member of the YOUNGO Action For Climate Empowerment Team and Former Contact Point.

In terms of academic and research experience, Hailey worked as a Sustainable Fisheries U.S. Policy Analyst and Researcher at Arizona State University. Hailey also interned at the Local2030 Islands Network, where they played a role in designing the organization's strategic plan and coordinating webinars on island resilience. Additionally, they have worked as a Climate Resilience Program Assistant and a Sustainability Intern at Arizona State University.

In their earlier career, Hailey gained experience as a Curriculum Development Intern at SolarSPELL and as a Research Fellow in the Sustainability Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) at the ASU School of Sustainability. Hailey also interned at CORCLIMA as a Community and Waste Management Intern.

Hailey Campbell completed their high school education at the International School of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas, with a GPA of 4.6. Hailey then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainability from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University from 2016 to 2020. During their undergraduate studies, they also earned a Certificate in Cross-Sector Collaboration from Arizona State University. In 2018, Hailey took part in a study abroad program in Costa Rica through the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange, where they focused on Sustainability and the Environment. Hailey furthered their education by obtaining a Masters degree in Sustainability Solutions (MSUS 4+1) from Arizona State University between 2019 and 2021.
