Laura C. Hanel has held a variety of roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Research Assistant at the University of California, Merced, where they participated in a comprehensive study of the effect of social media on stress, and assisted with lab operations including experimentation and data analysis. In 2017, they were an Intern for the Carbon Neutrality Initiative: Communications Working Group at the Sierra Nevada Research Institute. In 2018, they were a Facility Assistant at Joseph Gallo Farms, where they analyzed key product production methods and provided workable solutions to streamline efficiency, utilized statistical analytics to find the best method of maximizing output while minimizing loss, and created new forms to assist management in daily operating processes. From 2019 to 2021, they were employed at Apple via Apex Systems, first as a Junior Project Lead, where they developed and implemented a training program that has seen over 70 new hires successfully learn project parameters, and monitored team activities to achieve engagement and accomplish project priorities. Laura C. then moved into roles as a Senior Technician and a Data Imagery Editor (2d), where they efficiently identified and corrected issues by annotating 2D imagery, optimized existing processes in order to meet client’s goals, and skillfully analyzed and remedied deficiencies by making 3D generated data. Currently, they are a Product Operations Coordinator at care.coach, where they facilitate operations for primary use application, creates, assigns, and executes tasks for clients, and updates and designs PowerBi progress reports for weekly presentation.

Laura C. Hanel attended Stockdale High School from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their High School Diploma. Laura C. then attended the University of California, Merced from 2014 to 2017, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Management and Business Economics. Finally, they attended the University of California, Merced from 2018 to 2019, where they earned their Master's degree in Management.
