Joey Sassaman

Joey Sassaman currently serves as the Research Integrity Officer at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and holds the position of President of the Board of Directors for the CARE Coalition. Previously, Joey was the Director of Risk Management at Seven Hills Behavioral Health Hospital and the Lead Director of Duals Program Management at Aetna, a CVS Health Company. Additional roles include Director of Ethics and Compliance at JFK Medical Center, Sunrise Hospital, and Senior Compliance Director at Centene Corporation. Joey has extensive experience in compliance and risk management, having also served as Senior Compliance Manager at North Shore-LIJ CareConnect Insurance Company, Inc., Director of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at Liberty Health Advantage, and Compliance Specialist at Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Joey Sassaman earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Queens College.
