Julianne Day Ignacio

Julianne Day Ignacio is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and community support. Currently serving as a Care Manager at Care Design New York since November 2021, Julianne connects individuals to healthcare and advocacy resources while utilizing creative approaches for person-centered Life Plans. As the Founder and Editor In Chief of Verge of Verse, a digital magazine launched in 2014, Julianne oversees content management, social media strategy, and community engagement. Previously, Julianne held various roles at AHRC New York City, including Community Support Supervisor and Medicaid Service Coordinator, where responsibilities included facilitating person-centered planning and managing client services. Additionally, experience includes roles at The New School as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and earlier positions in administrative support and research. Julianne holds a Master of Arts in Media Studies and Media Management from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College.
