Wolfgang Tyderle

Wolfgang Tyderle has extensive experience in humanitarian assistance and project management, currently serving as a Senior Advisor and previously as Department Program Director and Head of Emergencies at CARE Deutschland e.V. since April 2005. Prior to this role, Wolfgang Tyderle worked as a Project Officer at the Federal Agency for Technical Relief from March 2003 to March 2005, and as a Consultant and Freelancer at GTZ, ASB, and WDR from March 2001 to February 2003. Wolfgang Tyderle also held the position of Department Program Director at Johanniter International between April 1997 and February 2001, and worked as a Freelance Journalist for German Television (ARD/WDR) from February 1991 to March 1997. Earlier in the career, Wolfgang Tyderle was the Assistant to the Director of the Zambia Institute for Mass Communication from January 1990 to December 1991. Wolfgang Tyderle holds a Master's degree in History from The University of Bonn and a Master in Humanitarian Assistance from Ruhr University Bochum.
