Mary Ann Christie Burnside

Mary Ann Christie Burnside, EdD, MDiv, serves as a Spiritual Counselor and Pediatric Palliative Care Program Manager at Care Dimensions since May 2021, alongside roles as a Care Coach for Families for Depression Awareness and as a Postulant in formation within The Episcopal Church. Burnside's extensive experience includes chaplaincy positions in various healthcare settings, including ST. Elizabeth's Medical Centers and Beverly Hospital, enhancing pastoral care for patients and staff. Burnside has been involved with Lexington Death Café as an organizer and co-host since 2016 and previously volunteered with Care Dimensions, further developing skills in bereavement support and end-of-life care. Educational achievements include a Doctorate in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard, a Master of Divinity from Boston College, and a background in Psychology and Computer Science.
