Chad Zakaib

Chad Zakaib has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent position is as Vice President Project Management at Care Hospice, Inc., where they have been since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as Regional Vice President at the same company from October 2018 to February 2021.

Before joining Care Hospice, Inc., Chad worked as Vice President and Program Director at Legacy Hospice from February 2011 to October 2018.

In addition to their healthcare experience, Chad has also been involved in various community and business organizations. Chad served as a Board Member at the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce from November 2009 to January 2016, and as Chairman of the Board from January 2015 to December 2015.

Chad also held positions as a Board Member at Wine Guild of Charlottesville from 2007 to 2014, as a Board Member at Charlottesville-Albemarle Convention & Visitor's Bureau from June 2010 to March 2011, and as a Board Member at Virginia Department of Agriculture Specialty Foods Advisory Committee from November 2009 to March 2011.

Prior to their work in hospice and community organizations, Chad held various roles at Jefferson Vineyards, where they served as General Manager from July 2005 to December 2010. Chad also had a role in Business Development at Charlottesville Venture Group from 2001 to 2002.

Chad's early career includes a position at Fox News Channel, where they served as Graphics Department Manager from April 1999 to July 2001, overseeing daily work flow, strategic planning, and special events. Chad also held various jobs at the channel from October 1996 to March 1999.

Chad Zakaib completed their education from 1977 to 1990 at St. Christophers School. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia from 1990 to 1994.
