Care Hospice
Matthew Tyson, MSN, RN, CHPN, CHPPN, RYT, currently serves as the Regional Compliance Nurse at Care Hospice, Inc. since April 2023. In addition, Matthew is a Yoga Instructor at Ashtanga Yoga Charlottesville, providing personalized and group instruction. Previously held roles include Clinical Liaison and Hospice RN Case Manager at Legacy Hospice, where Matthew collaborated with major health systems and provided direct patient care. Other notable positions include RN Medical Facilities Inspector for the Virginia Department of Health, RN Case Manager at Grace Hospice, and various nursing roles in oncology and hospice care. Matthew's educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Romance Languages from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The origination of Care Hospice is based on over twenty years of hospice care experience. Our founder has worked with small regional hospices and large, national organizations. The goal in creating Care Hospice was to integrate the passion of local organizations with the efficiency and compliance of much larger organizations. This has led to our unique and patient-centered structure.
