Michael Newman, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Accounting at Care Hospice, Inc., a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Michael worked as the Area Controller at Meridian Waste from September 2022 to March 2023. Michael's experience in audit and assurance includes four years at Deloitte, where roles included Audit & Assurance Senior from September 2018 to September 2022, Audit Assistant, and an Audit Intern during the summer of 2017. Michael holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia, completed in 2018, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University, obtained in 2017.

The origination of Care Hospice is based on over twenty years of hospice care experience. Our founder has worked with small regional hospices and large, national organizations. The goal in creating Care Hospice was to integrate the passion of local organizations with the efficiency and compliance of much larger organizations.
