Apollo B. Gabazira serves as the Country Director for CARE International in Uganda since January 2020. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Gabazira previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer for the Aga Khan Education Service in East Africa and Kenya, where responsibilities included guiding the organization's vision and mission across multiple countries. Prior to that, Gabazira was a Country Director at CARE International in Rwanda and Build Africa Uganda, as well as Assistant Country Director in Tanzania and Uganda. Academic credentials include an MBA in International Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, and degrees in International Business and Education from various institutions.
