Helen McEachern

Helen McEachern currently serves as Chief Executive of CARE International UK since August 2023. Prior to this role, McEachern was the Chief Executive Officer of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women from August 2017 to July 2023, focusing on global impact for women entrepreneurs and economic justice. McEachern has also held significant positions at ActionAid UK as Director of Fundraising and at ActionAid as International Fundraising and Communications Director, leading fundraising programs and global strategies. Earlier experience includes roles at Greenpeace International, Greenpeace USA, and Greenpeace Australia Pacific, as well as a foundation in advertising and direct marketing with McCann Worldgroup. McEachern holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Psychology from the University of New England, an MBA in International Business from IE Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Social Policy from Birkbeck, University of London.
