Andrew Wood has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew started their career as a Legislative Assistant for the State of Tennessee from January 2006 to August 2008. Andrew then worked at the University of Tennessee, first as an Admissions Counselor from August 2008 to August 2010, then as an Assistant Director of Admissions from August 2010 to December 2014, and finally as the Director of Alumni Student Recruitment and Scholarships from December 2014 to May 2015. Andrew then moved to the Hope Resource Center, where they served as the Executive Director from May 2015 to July 2023, overseeing the organization's operations, fundraising, and outreach. Currently, they are working at Care Net as the Senior Executive Director of Church Engagement, starting from July 2023.
Andrew Wood earned an Associate's Degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Columbia State Community College between 2002 and 2004. Later, between 2004 and 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).
