Michele Skinner, RHIT, CCS, CPC, serves as the Senior System Director for HIM/Coding/CDI at Care New England since October 2020, overseeing health information management for multiple hospitals and medical group offices. Prior experience includes corporate leadership roles at Steward Health Care, where Michele directed HIM departments and revenue operations across 17 facilities, and has held various positions focused on HIM and coding at Southcoast Health System, Eastern Maine Medical Center, Providence Health & Services, HCA Florida Keys, and Chenango Memorial Hospital. Michele’s extensive background in HIM, coding practices, compliance, and revenue cycle management underscores a deep commitment to advancing health information practices across healthcare systems.
