Gary Aldridge

Gary Aldridge is an experienced professional in the field of social care, currently serving as an Inspector at the Care Quality Commission and as a Practice Lead at Whitmore Vale Housing Association since July 2025. Prior to these roles, Gary held positions at Certitude as Specialist Support Lead and Head of Intensive Support from June 2021 to September 2025. Previously, Gary worked with Choice Support as Assistant Director of Positive Behaviour Support and Person Centred Active Support from September 2010 to June 2021. Educationally, Gary earned a Master’s Degree in Analysis and Intervention in Intellectual Disabilities from the University of Kent in 2005 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Plymouth in 1992, following attendance at Haberdashers Aske's Hatcham Boys' School from 1981 to 1988.
