Jane Stichbury

Chairman at Care South

Jane joined the Board of Care South in July 2017. She has spent some 40 years in public service, with a career in policing spanning some 32 years. Jane served in many challenging roles in the Metropolitan Police, prior to her appointment as Chief Constable in Dorset, a wonderful county which she was proud to lead for nearly six years. She concluded her policing career as Her Majesty’s Inspector of Constabulary with oversight of 16 forces, including national work. She was then delighted to work in the NHS as Chair of The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals for seven years.

Jane has other charitable interests and appointments. She has always wanted to ensure the best possible support and service for citizens and patients, and strongly supports the Care South HEART Values.
