Ismail abu Hatab

Ismail Abu Hatab is an accomplished filmmaker and media professional, serving as the CEO and Founder of C Light since January 2018, where responsibility includes film and documentary production, content development, and overseeing artistic direction. In addition to leading C Light, Ismail has worked as a filmmaker with CARE since October 2019 and previously held the position of Media Officer and Filmmaker at PYALARA from January 2013 to October 2022. Notable projects include directing a 30-episode drama series addressing social issues in Palestinian society and providing training in media literacy and filmmaking to various groups. Ismail's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia from the University College of Applied Sciences, obtained between 2010 and 2014.
