Julie B. MacArtney

Julie B. Macartney is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and business management within the international development sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Business Services and Operations at CARE since March 2012, Julie has held various roles including Director of Business Operations and Strategy for International Programs & Operations and Special Assistant to the VP of International Programs & Operations. Prior to this, Julie worked as Senior Operations Manager at FHI 360 and held similar positions at the Academy for Educational Development. Early career experience includes roles as an Investment Development Intern and Finance Intern at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, Project Manager at EduSystems, and Research Associate at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs. Julie holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/History & International Studies from Illinois College.
