Marielle Hart

Marielle Hart serves as the Global Policy Director for Health Equity and Rights at CARE since November 2023. Prior to this role, Marielle was the Head of Policy for Aidsfonds from July 2018 to November 2023, leading U.S. policy influencing efforts. Marielle's extensive experience includes managing the Stop AIDS Alliance's global and EU policy work with the International HIV/AIDS Alliance from February 2005 to July 2018, where strategic advocacy and liaison with stakeholders were key responsibilities. Previous roles include serving as an Advisor on EU foreign aid for BBO Development Policy Consultants, a Humanitarian Liaison Officer at the ICRC, and contributions to Médecins Sans Frontières, the European Parliament, and the United Nations OCHA. Marielle holds an M.A. in Political Science/International Relations from the University of Amsterdam and has studied European politics at Sciences Po Lyon and the Institute of Higher European Studies.
