Nimeri Ali

Nimeri Ali serves as the Head of Operations at CARE since August 2018, overseeing procurement, IT, administration, and stakeholder relations to enhance service delivery to vulnerable populations in Sudan. With extensive experience at Plan International from 2001 to 2018, Nimeri progressed from Community Development Coordinator to Operation Support Manager, where leadership in logistics, administration, and security management was provided, along with managing high-performing teams and implementing policies. Nimeri holds a PhD in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management, a Master’s in Rural Development, and a Bachelor’s in Social Studies from respected institutions, showcasing a strong academic foundation to complement practical operational expertise.
