Rachel Hartgen has an extensive background in international development and microfinance. Rachel has held various roles in different organizations, including overseeing multimillion-dollar projects, developing fundraising strategies, and evaluating microfinance programs. Rachel has a strong educational background with multiple degrees in Economics, International Development, International Relations, and Journalism. Rachel is currently serving as the Senior Director of Program Strategy and Innovation at CARE, where Rachel leads projects focused on education, leadership, and workforce development.
