Sarah Hewitt

Sarah Hewitt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in women's entrepreneurship and global equity programs. Currently serving as the Director of Strive Women at CARE since July 2023, Sarah previously held key positions such as Associate Director for Equity at Open Society Foundations and Consultant for the Poverty, Gender and Youth Program at the Population Council. Sarah's operational expertise was demonstrated as Head of Operations for Fundación Capital in Tanzania and as a Senior Program Associate for the Gender Program at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency. With educational credentials including an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA in Economics/Mathematics from Emory University, along with various international business programs, Sarah brings a strong foundation in management and strategy to her roles.
