Darcie Goodman

Darcie Goodman has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Darcie currently serves as the Principal at Slingshot Healthcare Consulting since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Clinical Integration at CareAbout Health, where they were contracted with Slingshot Healthcare. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Vice President of Clinical Innovation and Strategy at EmblemHealth. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Management Consulting at COPE Health Solutions from 2017 to 2020.

Darcie'sexperience in healthcare also includes roles as the Director of Care Management at Mount Sinai Health System from 2014 to 2017. Darcie began their career at Vancouver Coastal Health, where they held various positions such as Injury Prevention Program Lead, Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room and Medical/Surgical departments, and Long Term Care Nurse from 2005 to 2013.

Additionally, they have worked as a School Nurse at St. George's School from 2010 to 2013 and held roles at the Government of Canada, including Veterans Affairs Canada District Nursing Officer and Utilization & Case Management and providing healthcare services during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Throughout their career, Darcie Goodman has gained diverse experience in healthcare consulting, clinical integration, innovation, strategy, management consulting, care management, nursing, and injury prevention.

Darcie Goodman holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree from Thompson Rivers University. Darcie also obtained a Specialty Certification in Emergency Nursing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Darcie has additional certifications such as Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) from the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP) and Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) from the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. Darcie has pursued further education with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Health Policy and Management from New York University. It is not indicated when these degrees and certifications were obtained.
