David Shih

David Shih is the current Chief Medical Officer at CareAbout. Prior to this, they were with Rendr Care Physicians, Tia, and Master Clinicians. David was also the Co-Founder, Chief Medical Officer & EVP of Strategy at CITYMD from January 2010 to December 2018. During their time at CITYMD, they established the foundation and standardized all CityMD medical practice by creating policies, protocols and systems with a focus on Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Patient Experience, Physician Leadership, Risk Management, Clinical Quality Measures, Payer and Provider Relationship, Population Health Initiatives, Physician Recruitment, Clinical Operations, Management, Scheduling, and Training. David also achieved UCAOA Accreditation Status for all CityMD sites and introduced Team STEPPS and High Reliability models to the organization. By 2017, they were focusing on CityMD Strategy, Business Development, Health Innovation, and Relationships with Payor, Provider, Media, Health Systems, CBO and Government partners.

David Shih is a medical doctor who graduated from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine. David also has a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
