Dr. Kerry Burnight

Dr. Kerry Burnight is a prominent gerontologist and founder of The Gerontologist, Inc, where a focus on optimizing lifespan, healthspan, and joyspan for aging adults is paramount. With over 30 years of research and clinical experience, Dr. Burnight also serves on the Expert Advisory Boards of Patina, Nymbl Science, and CareAcademy.com, contributing to initiatives aimed at improving health care experiences and preventing falls among the elderly. As the former Chief Gerontologist at GrandPad, Dr. Burnight led efforts to enhance connectivity for older adults, while also co-founding Ageless Alliance to combat elder abuse. In academia, Dr. Burnight was a Full Professor of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at the University of California, Irvine, and co-founded the nation's first Elder Abuse Forensic Center. Educational credentials include a PhD in Gerontology from the University of Southern California and a BS in Sociology from UCLA.
