Rob Rutigliano

Vice President, Medical & Scientific Affairs at Carebox Healthcare

Rob Rutigliano has over 20 years of experience in the medical and scientific field. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Research Technician at the Research Foundation of SUNY, where they performed experiments to support postdoctoral fellows in basic oncology research. Rob then moved to SUNY Stony Brook, where they worked as a Research Scientist from 2000 to 2006. Their thesis work revolved around the development of synthetic biological tools that were generated to drive new cellular interactions within the living cell. In 2006, they joined EmergingMed as Associate Director of Clinical Affairs, where they led the medical information department in their efforts to maintain and develop the most comprehensive and accurate database of clinical trials and participating sites. In 2016, they joined Carebox as Vice President of Medical & Scientific Affairs, where they develop and implements innovative solutions that help patients and caregivers gain access to and understand the full breadth of research studies available to them.

Rob Rutigliano received their Ph.D in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from Stony Brook University in 2006. Prior to that, they earned their BA in Theirtory/ Business from James Madison University in 1994.
