Gautham Kumaran

Gautham Kumaran is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in leading data-driven projects across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Careem since January 2022, Gautham previously held the role of Senior Data Scientist at Etisalat from December 2019 to December 2021, and worked as a Data Scientist at YFret Inc. from March 2017 to December 2019. At YFret Inc., Gautham contributed to significant improvements in click-through rates and conversions through innovative personalized recommendation algorithms and first-visit personalization strategies for guest users. Gautham also has a background in software development, having architected data pipelines on AWS that efficiently managed high volumes of click-stream data. Gautham began a career in technology as an Associate Developer at SAP from July 2016 to February 2017, following the attainment of a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from SSN College of Engineering in 2016.
