Rowan Salama

Rowan Salama is a seasoned product researcher with extensive experience in user research, having worked with prominent organizations across various sectors. At Careem, Rowan currently serves as a Senior Product Researcher, leading research efforts across 70+ cities in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. Previously, Rowan held the position of Senior UX Researcher at the Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE, managing usability testing labs and conducting independent research. As a Principal Researcher for the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia, Rowan led ethnographic research and strategic initiatives to enhance tourism experiences for Vision 2030. Rowan's earlier roles include impactful contributions at Noon, Orcas Tutoring, and AIESEC, with a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Linguistics from Ain Shams University.
