Youssef Mahmoud

Youssef Mahmoud is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in senior management roles, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Careem since December 2018. Youssef has a strong track record of leading distributed engineering teams and driving collaborative initiatives between engineering, product, and UX to realize Careem's SuperApp vision. Prior to Careem, Youssef worked as a Software Backend Engineer at Zalando, focusing on risk management and fraud detection, and held various engineering roles at HGST, Integrant Inc, EDS, and NetSignature. Youssef earned a degree in Computer Science from Helwan University Cairo and has a solid educational background in Mathematics from Badr Language School.
