Eric Burgess, MS, serves as the Public Safety Coordinator and EMS Instructor/Coordinator at C-TEC of Licking County since September 2005. With a background in emergency medical services, Eric held various leadership roles at Delaware County EMS from October 2001 to May 2023, including Assistant Chief, where responsibilities encompassed managing daily operations and overseeing a large EMS agency. Eric contributed as a committee member for the EMFTS Board Homeland Security and Education Committees since February 2019. An Executive Committee Member of the Ohio EMS Chiefs Association from June 2013 to May 2023, Eric’s educational background includes a Master's Degree in Public Safety Administration from Lewis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Medicine from Baldwin Wallace University.

At C-TEC we help our students make successful transitions, regardless of their stage in life. Our mission is clear: ”provide all learners with academic and technical skills needed for career opportunities and continuous learning.” The majority of tomorrow’s jobs will require people to have technical training. The technical curriculum at C-TEC's High School and Adult Education Center prepares students to enter the workforce and/or a two or four-year college degree programs. In addition to our High School and Adult Education Center, C-TEC offers Customized Training to local employers to assure that their employees have the technical skills necessary to succeed. Customized Training is available around the clock on and off-site.
