Jag Basran

Jag Basran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 2011, Jag started as a Junior Software Engineer at Xap Corporation, where they worked until 2014. Jag then joined Thompson Rivers University as a Research Associate from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Jag moved on to work at PNI Digital Media Ltd as a Technical Business Analyst and a Developer until 2015. That same year, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Career City College. From 2016 to 2020, Jag returned to Xap Corporation, taking on the roles of Scrum Master/Software Engineer and Software Development Manager/Product Manager. In 2020, Jag joined Data Nerds as a Business Unit Manager, a position they held until 2021.

Jag Basran attended Thompson Rivers University from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computing Science degree. Jag also completed a minor in Business Management during their time at the university.
