Demetria Kendrick-Snorton has a wide range of work experience, beginning with their current role as Technical Sales Engineer at Careerist since 2022. Prior to this, they were an Operations Specialist at Rocketship Public Schools from 2022. From 2013 to present, they have been the Founder of LaDia & Co., an apparel, skincare, photography, and design company. From 2018 to present, they have also been the Founder of The STEAMINIST Academy, an outreach program geared to help middle and high school students reach their full potential. In 2022, they were a Servant Leader Intern at the Nashville Freedom School Partnership. From 2020 to present, they have been the Director of Student and Family Ministries at Petrie Memorial UMC, where they have preached Sunday messages and taught midweek devotion when the Pastor cannot. From 2019 to present, they have been an Assistant Women Basketball Coach at University Heights Academy, where they have helped promote individual and team growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Additionally, from 2019 to present, they have been a Teen Coordinator at Boys & Girls Club of Hopkinsville, where they have supervised Club teen members, led STEAM and Photography Clubs, and helped students cultivate an interest in STEAM. From 2017 to present, they have been a Sales Associate at Home Depot, where they have provided customers with product knowledge and recommendations and created displays and models to help customers visualize different design options. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been a Finance Staff at the National Baptist Convention, where they have guided financial operations and been responsible for financial preparing reports, researching historical documents, and analyzing related data.
Demetria Kendrick-Snorton is currently enrolled in Tennessee State University and is expected to obtain a Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies in 2023.
