Prior to this, Tirmizi worked as a Career Coach at Careerminds, where they helped individuals navigate their career transitions. Sayyid Tirmizi also served as a Career Coach at GetFive, a national outplacement and career coaching organization. In 1992-1993, Tirmizi attended Ljubljana University, where they obtained an M.B.A. degree with a focus on Information Technology. During the same period, they also pursued an M.B.A. in Management and Information Technology at the University of Ljubljana, where they participated in the UNDP/Commonwealth International Program.
