Clyde Light

Clyde Light has extensive work experience in the military and recruiting sectors. Clyde began their career in the US Army as a Combat Engineer in 2002 and served until 2010. During this time, they held various roles, including Squad Leader and Senior Human Resources Manager. From 2010 to 2014, Clyde worked for the 593rd Expositionary Sustainement Command, where they served as Company, Battalion, and Brigade Operations Sergeant. In 2014, they joined the Eagle Ridge Recruiting Station as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter. Clyde then worked at the Polk County Local Area Recruiting Offices as a Station Commander from 2016 to 2018. Following this, they served as an Intern First Sergeant at the Central Florida/Lakeland Recruiting Company & Station from 2018 to 2021. Clyde's most recent position was with the Columbia US Army Recruiting Company as the Company First Sergeant from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Clyde is working as a Transitioning Service Member at CareerSource Polk and started in June 2023.

Clyde Light obtained a Bachelor's degree in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing from Purdue Global. Clyde attended Purdue Global from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, Clyde obtained a certification in e-Diploma from Purdue University Global in November 2022.
