Joylette Stevens has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2004 as a Member Experience Concierge at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC. In 2010, they moved to the Virgin Islands Department of Labor as an Employment Specialist. In 2016, they began working at CareerSource Polk as a Vice President of Operations, Program Manager, and Career Development Specialist. Joylette also worked at Career Source Polk County as a Talent Development Specialist (Case Manager) and at ResCare Workforce Services as a Training and Development Specialist.
Joylette Stevens has a comprehensive educational history. Joylette began their studies at Christ the King High School from 1995 to 2000. Joylette then attended Antigua State College from 2000 to 2002, studying Law, Politics and History. After that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at the University of the Virgin Islands from 2005 to 2009. Joylette then earned a Master of Public Administration from the same university from 2009 to 2012. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration, Public Policy and Law from Walden University in 2022. Additionally, they obtained a Florida Workforce Professional certification from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity in March 2016.
