Dr. Byron C. Clayton

Dr. Byron C. Clayton has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Dr. Byron has served as the Senior Vice President and Chief of Sector Partnerships at CareerSource Tampa Bay since 2021. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Tampa Bay Works from 2020 to 2021. Dr. Clayton also worked as the CEO of ARM - Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing from 2018 to 2020, where they established and advanced the organization's processes and strategies. Dr. Byron served as the President & CEO of Research Park Corporation from 2015 to 2017, expanding its strategic focus and partnering with Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Additionally, Dr. Clayton was the Vice-President of Cluster Acceleration at NorTech from 2010 to 2014. Dr. Byron has also held executive positions at GED Integrated Solutions, Wegoma, Manufacturing & Business Automation, Inc., Deneb Robotics, and AKR Robotics. Throughout their career, Dr. Clayton has demonstrated their expertise in business development, market penetration, strategy development, and project management.

Dr. Byron C. Clayton earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from David N. Myers University in 2002. Dr. Byron later pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in 2009. The field of study for both degrees is unspecified.
