Ebony Staten has worked in various roles since 2005. In 2013, they began working as a Part-Time Instructor (Freshman Seminar) for California State University. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as an Associate Director - Graduate and Professional Student Affairs, Interim Director, and Graduate Associate Registrar at Azusa Pacific University. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a District Partnership Manager at the Foundation for California Community Colleges. In 2021, they began working as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at The Grove Community Counseling Center and as the Director, Higher Education and Inclusion Initiatives at CareerVillage.org.
Ebony Staten began their educational journey in 2000 at Hampton University. Ebony then transferred to California State University-San Bernardino in 2001, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication, Public Relations in 2004. Ebony continued their studies at the same university, earning their Masters Degree in Public Administration in 2010. Most recently, they have been enrolled at California Baptist University, where they are currently pursuing their Masters in Clinical Psychology, expected to be completed in 2023.
