Gene Smith

Gene Smith is currently the RVP of Sales at Careficient. Prior to this, they served as the Regional Sales Manager at Complia Health from October 2015 to August 2017. In this role, they were responsible for researching and identifying prospective organizations that could benefit from Procura software, identifying key business decision makers in these organizations, gaining client commitment, and demonstrating the web-based product. Gene also uncovered future sales opportunities, managed the sales process, and closed business.

Before their time at Complia Health, Gene worked as a Regional Sales Representative for Orkin Pest Control from January 2014 to September 2015. In this role, they were responsible for prospecting for sales in a designated sales territory, developing a daily schedule of productive activity from creative sources and qualified leads, responding to and initiating telephone contact with potential customers, and developing community relationships for referral and sales opportunities. Gene also prepared proposals specific to the individual homeowner’s needs, presented the sales proposals, explained identified problems and the proposed solution, closed sales, and achieved sales performance objectives.

Gene Smith received their Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Louisiana Monroe.

They are on a team with Craig Jones - VP of Product Management & QA, JP Greco - VP of Client Success, and Charles Creach - SVP of Administration & HR. Gene Smith reports to Bill Creach, Founder & CEO. A direct report to Gene Smith is and Miguel Aquino - Sales & Marketing Operations Manager.
